Lori Vafiades, Portfolio: Whimsical, stylized, live-breathing are all words used to describe Lori's work. Although her work is stylized, she has a broad subject matter. Lori works in watercolor, collage and digital mediums. She has thousands of works but has chosen a few of her favorites to include in this portfolio.
WATERCOLOR PAINTINGS: Originals are on 140 or 300 pound Arches, cold-pressed watercolor paper. Lori work with transparent watercolors from Windsor Newton, Daniel Smith, Holbien, Daler Rowney to name a few. Prints and origianls of many of these works are available by clicking the link on the picture.
Digital Paintings: Lori is currently using Corel Painter Essentials 4 and a Wacom Bamboo Tablet and Pen to complete these digital works. She uses her own photography or royalty images from other online sources. The mixture of dynamic subject matter, play of dark and light, crafting of color and whimsical touches produce a unique and powerful piece of art.
